UTPMP and Chevron/Texaco partnership

Chevron has joined Un Techo Para Mi País’ mission and is raising funds through their Texaco Gas Stations in Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Colombia. For every gallon bought a percentage of the sale is donated to Un Techo Para Mi País. In total, they project to raise funds for more that 350 families (USD 566,000).

This campaign begins on November 15th and will continue through December 15th with the objective of providing the families with more dignified roofs under which they can celebrate the Christmas holidays. This campaign will strengthen the reputation of our work, presenting our transitional homes in visible terms and showing our best asset, the optimism and passion of our volunteers.

Celebrities, media and Texaco employees and dealers will join in the construction. It will be an important moment of togetherness that will strengthen UTPMP’s public image.

This alliance pushes us to reach more families, expand further and strengthens us as a foundation.
