The dream to be present in all of Latin America is becoming a reality through UTPMP’s opening in the heart of South America: Paraguay. Our involvement in Paraguay started recently, in April of 2008, and currently we are working with a diverse group of Paraguayan volunteers to take the first steps towards change in a harsh social reality wrought by poverty, corruption, indifference and conformism. These young Paraguayan university students, alongside the families living in extreme poverty and with the support of the private sector, are making every possible effort to improve the lives of hundreds of families living in poverty.
